boursin and olive tapenade dip instructions:
Stick around to the end, and I’ll tell you how I made this even though my food processor is on the fritz.
- Prepare the olive tapenade by placing the olives, tomatoes, garlic, capers, olive oil and lemon juice into a small food processor.
- Pulse until combined and chunky.
- Add the basil and pulse again until combined.
- Spread the Boursin onto a plate or small platter.
- Spoon the olive tapenade over the Boursin.

what if I don’t have a food processor
I have a food processor, but it never seems to work when I need it. Honestly, this dip would have been easier with it, but I was still able to make it even without it. I simply put the olives on the cutting board and just started chopping away. Then did the same with the garlic and sundried tomatoes before mixing it all together. That’s exactly what you’ll see in the video. Just call me the human food processor.
what to serve with your yummy creamy tapenade dip
There are lots of things that you can dip into this delicious creamy tapenade dip, but our favorite is some toasted crusty garlic bread. I have the perfect recipe that you can check out HERE. You can also just use chunks of rustic bread, crackers, store made toasties, bagel chips or even tortilla chips. If you want a healthier version, use celery stick.

is there a shortcut?
Yes!!! There’s almost always a shortcut. For this dip, just buy some store bought olive tapenade instead of making it yourself. True…it won’t be quite as good, but you’re probably the only one that will actually know.
