- 2 – 5.3 oz packages garlic and fine herbs Boursin spread
- 10.5 oz classic bruschetta spread
- Balsamic glaze
- Fresh basil
- Salt to taste
ingredient information:
- Bruschetta: Yes, you can make homemade bruschetta, but we’re keeping things simple. Choose your favorite jarred brand like we did.
- Boursin: There are several flavors to choose from for this soft, creamy cheese. Any flavor will work for this recipe, but we chose the garlic and fine herbs. You can use one, but we wanted to the dip to go a little farther and went with 2. For a party, you might want to buy it by the case.
- Balsamic glaze: Reduce some balsamic vinegar with a bit of sugar for a yummy glaze or just grab a bottle of pre-made balsamic glaze like this one.
instructions:
Stick around to the end, and I’ll tell you how I made simple homemade bread crumbs.
- On a small platter or plate, spread the Boursin evenly.
- To the top of the Boursin, spoon on the prepared bruschetta.
- Drizzle balsamic glaze on top or add 2 Tbsp balsamic pearls.
- Chop fresh basil into thin ribbons and sprinkle on top of dip to finish it off.
- Add salt to taste.

my recipe tips
- Make it fancy: I’ve always wanted to use balsamic vinegar pearls in a recipe, and this would be the perfect one. Instead of the glaze, use these pearls instead for a pop of flavor and a different look.
- No fresh herbs?: If you don’t have access to fresh basil, just skip it. It does add some flavor, but we’re mostly using it for the look here.
- Best plating: You can use any large plate or pie dish to plate this simple dip. We love these small platters for some color and this simple white platter for a classic look.

🍽️ serving ideas
There are lots of things that you can dip into this delicious Boursin & bruschetta dip, but our favorite is some toasted crusty garlic bread. I have the perfect recipe that you can check out HERE. You can also just use chunks of rustic bread, crackers, store made toasties, bagel chips or even tortilla chips. If you want a healthier version, use celery sticks or baby carrots.
If you’re having a get together with lots of appetizers, this dip recipe is great alongside gourmet chicken parmesan dip or this buckeye dip. Then there will be a little something for everyone.

- Storage: Keep leftovers (if you even have any) covered in plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days. I don’t recommend freezing this dip, as it may affect the texture.
- Dip prep: This dip takes just a few minutes to throw together and it’s best fresh. Wait until the time of serving to assemble the ingredients.
