creamy peach salsa dip instructions:
Stick around to the end, and I’ll give you a few tips to really make this dip your own.
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
- Spread the cream cheese in the bottom of a pie plate.
- Pour the salsa on top of the cream cheese.
- Then sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top of that.
- Place the dip in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve with tortilla chips.

can i use a different kind of salsa?
Our salsa of choice for this is peach salsa because it adds a little bit of sweetness, specifically Newman’s own brand of peach salsa. Our grocery didn’t carry that. So, we used a different brand, and the results were not quite as good. You can really use any salsa based on your own personal preference. Choose one with some spice or another fruit salsa, like mango or pineapple. You really can’t go wrong.
can i skip the oven?
You’re definitely going to want to make the cheese melty for the best results. However, instead of the over, you can pop this in the microwave for 5 to 6 minutes. Best results are with the oven because it gives it a little crust that the microwave doesn’t. But you’ll still be enjoying a yummy dip either way.
what to serve with this cheesy dip
There’s an ongoing debate about what to use to dip into this cheesy goodness. I prefer simple Captain’s wafer crackers. The little bit of buttery flavor adds to the taste of the dip. But…the rest of my family prefers tortillas chips. Either way, you can’t go wrong. You could even use Doritos and let the extra nacho cheese add to the taste sensation.

do we have a preferred cream cheese brand?
Yes!!! I understand that this is a personal preference, but I always use Philadelphia cream cheese (even though Philly is our sports rival here in Pittsburgh). There’s just something about the taste. That being said, any cream cheese brand will work just fine. So, stick with your favorite brand when making this dip.
