- 2 balls burrata cheese
- 2 fresh peaches (diced)
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Honey roasted pecans
- Honey or hot honey
ingredient information:
- Burrata cheese: Burrata is an Italian season made from mozzarella and cream. It has a beautiful milky flavor and buttery texture which oozes out when cut into. You can find this in the dairy sections of most major grocery stores now in a plastic tub container.
- Peaches: Choose some fresh peaches. However, they are not always available in the off season. If you can’t find them in your grocery store, use frozen and let them thaw or choose a fruit with a similar flavor profile, like nectarines or apricots.
- Brown sugar: Brown sugar is simply white sugar mixed with molasses that gives it that caramel coloring. We chose light brown sugar for this recipe, but you can also use dark brown sugar with little difference in the overall flavor. Be sure to pack it down when measuring.
- Honey roasted pecans: We chose to skip the prep and buy our honey roasted pecans HERE. It’s a big enough bag to use for several recipes. But if you enjoy the process and want to make your own, this recipe from Cooking with Carlee is just the thing.
- Honey: We love using local honey from the farmer’s market when it’s available, but we live in PA where the farmer’s markers are seasonal. So we just grab whatever’s at the grocery store. To top off your dip, you can also opt for hot honey instead.
instructions:
Stick around to the end, and I’ll tell you how to ramp up the flavors of this dip even more.
- Optional: Prepare the peaches by scoring the bottom with an x and submerging them in boiling water for about 1 minute. Then transfer to ice water. The skins should then remove easily.
- Dice 2 peaches and set aside.
- Place the 2 balls of burrata on a small serving platter. Open them up with a knife and spread the cheese over the surface of the plate, tearing it into pieces.
- Spoon the peaches over the top.
- Sprinkle on the cinnamon and brown sugar over the peaches.
- Drizzle with hot honey.
- Garnish with honey roasted pecans.

my recipe tips
- Swap it: To slightly change up the flavor profile, change out the honey for Balsamic glaze. This will still give it some sweetness and add another element. You can also swap out the pecans for pistachios or anything with a crunch.
- Cheese is cheese: I love the creaminess and slightly salty flavor of Burrata cheese, but you can really use any spreadable creamy cheese in this recipe. Try some whipped goat cheese, softened cream cheese with a bit of honey or Boursin spread. Each would be delicious.

🍽️ serving ideas
There are lots of things that you can dip into this delicious burrata with peaches dip, but our favorite is some simple crackers, like Wheat Thins. You can also just use chunks of rustic bread, crackers, store made toasties, bagel chips or even tortilla chips. Since this dip is both savory and sweet, you can also go a sweeter route and use shortbread cookies.
If you’re having a get together with lots of appetizers, this dip recipe is great alongside this jalapeno popper cheese ball and this milk and cookies dip. Then there will be a little something for everyone.
choosing the best peaches
Peaches, like all fruit, can be a little tricky to pick out the best and most ripe ones. You want to be sure that when you gently squeeze, it gives just a bit and isn’t rock hard. There should also be a pleasant sweet smell if the peach is perfectly ripe. A ripe peach will have a deep golden or yellow background, with no signs of bruising.
My grandma taught me this trick for when you get peaches that are just a bit underripe, pop them into a brown paper bag lunch bag and sit them on your counter (not in the fridge) overnight. By the next day they are typically just right.

recipe notes
- Tips: Check out my recipe tips above to help you get the best results for this super yummy dip.
- Storage: Keep leftovers (if you even have any) covered in plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 to 4 days. I don’t recommend freezing this dip, as it may affect the texture.
- Dip prep: You can prepare all of the elements for this dish ahead of time. Just wait until time to serve to assemble the dish.
